Questionnaire results

16 people that took my survey were female and only 9 people that took the survey were male, as I had more females I am going to aim my music magazine at this audience, as I have more research on what females would like to see in a music magazine.

The majority of people that took my survey were aged 14-17 years old therefore my target audience is going to be for those age 16 and 17.

Each of the genres of music was answered as to what music people enjoyed listening to, there is a wide range of music choice here, but as each one has been choose I am going to enjoy a variety of genre in the magazine I will produce. R&B and Pop were the most popular answers so I will focus of these two genres the most.

Most people said they downloaded music either once a week or once a fortnight, this shows that they regular download music. This shows me that I should include a place where music is able to be downloaded from such as iTunes; this could also allow me to do advertisements/competitions based upon downloading music.

This shows me that the two most popular chooses of magazines are fashion and gossip; this may be because the majority of people which took the questionnaire were female. Even though the magazine I will be producing is based on music, I will add elements of fashion and gossip into it, however this will be about a singer therefore leading into the music industry.

The colour which was most popular was Black, White and Pink, again this may be most popular as the majority of people which took the survey were female, and so pink is going to be a colour that attracts this audience. I am going to use the colours Black, White and Pink as they are bold colours therefore they would stand out on the page, also these colour would attract the audience as it is going to be for females.

Each answer had a lot of votes on then  therefore I am going to try and add a bit of everything into the article, as interview was most popular this is want I am going to the article on, gossip will go into this as I will write questions relating to gossip about the band, I will do tour dates on the side of the page as to when the band that is doing the interview will be performing, I will also mention if they are in the music chart and which number.
